The best way to unite a community is to focus on the ultimate unifier which is love! It is the one thing that unites people because love is our true nature and the glue that makes cultural and philosophical differences become pretty much unimportant. One thing I know about Land Harbor is the people have a true heart and are giving people!
Crime prevention through neighborhood cohesiveness and collaboration.
Unity in the Community is registered with the National Neighborhood Watch program a division of the National Sherrif's Association. It empowers citizens to become active in community efforts through participation in Neighborhood Watch and advocacy group.

LLH Unity in the Community Barn Quilt Trail
Enjoy the LLH community by exploring the neighborhoods to view vividly painted quilt squares on homes and buildings of participating homeowners. Many blocks are painted using basic geometric shapes and represent the history of the land, a building, or family – in some cases, favorite things. Some traditional, others whimsical and even quirky, many of the blocks on the trail are inspired by everyday mountain life. These quilt blocks are a way to tell community stories and connect modern-day mountain life to the rich craft custom of Appalachian culture. Many of the barn quilt squares were created by LLH's very own Rodney Jones.
